Unlimited Technology under the MicrosoftInnovation Center Nepal organised  the Imperial Co-op Platform and MobileApp Workshop in Kathmandu on Friday, June 1 to update Nepali cooperatives aboutdigital financial services. The one-day workshop aimed to enable variouscooperatives to manage their overall business with digital and automated systemby signing up for the app.

AllenTuladhar, CEO of the company, shed light on the use and benefits of digitalfinancial service through the mobile app.

 “Sixtyone percent of all financial access points in Nepal are cooperatives helpingmillions of Nepalis, yet we lack digital financial services within thecooperative sector," he said. He added that new application can beutilized by both the cooperatives and their customers.

Representativesfrom 25 different cooperatives participated in the workshop. Speaking at theprogramme, RabinaLage, operation officer at Imperial Saving and CreditCooperative Ltd commented about the advantages of mobile application in dailytransactions.
