HBL, IFC to help women entrepreneurs
Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) andInternational Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, havesigned an agreement wherein IFC would be providing financial resources toprovide financial access to 'Banking on Women Program'.
A mandate letter to this extentwas signed by HBL CEO Ashoke SJB Rana and IFC Country Head for Nepal M RehanRashid, according to a statement issued by HBL. "The arrangement shallfacilitate women entrepreneurs to establish/run micro, small and medium scaleenterprises," the bank added in the statement.
